Safety Net Announces New VP and Hires Former Pentagon Security Administrator
Traverse City, MI -- Safety Net has announced the following hires and promotions in the second quarter:
Toni Poole has been promoted to Vice President of Cloud and Technical Solutions. She has been with the company for nearly nine years, most recently serving as a Senior Network Engineer and Team Lead. Principal Kevin Bozung said, “Toni’s experience will benefit all Safety Net clients as she expands her leadership role, provides strategic direction and critically evaluates the latest software, hardware and devices to meet their needs.” Toni is a Microsoft Certified Enterprise Administrator.
Dannie Arnold Jr. has joined the company as a Network Administrator, focusing on Your Net clients with strict compliance requirements, such as those in healthcare and financial services. A Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Dannie has over a decade of experience in information security, working internationally and at the Pentagon for the United States Army. In his role at Safety Net, he supports uptime on client networks while providing mentorship to Support Services Specialists.
Jason Ovaitt has been promoted to Network Administrator. In his first six months with the company, Jason clearly demonstrated broad technical knowledge, natural leadership skills and a commitment to first-rate service. People in the greater Grand Traverse region may recognize these qualities in Jason from his several years working with other IT service providers. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Ferris State University. In his new role, Jason mentors Support Services Specialists, provides escalated client network support and collaborates with engineers on special projects.
